Abstract: Authors found that acetylsalicylic acid had relatively strong fungistatic action on dermatophytes in vitro. Its minimal inhibitory concentration (MIC) was 0.5-0.09mg/ml for 8 species of ccmmen dermatophytes and 1mg/ml for Candida albicans and sporotrichum schenckii.
