Study on sporothrix schencki by SEM

Abstract: This paper describes the morphology of the cultures of Sporothrix schenckii(room temperature) by SEM. Conidiophores were elongated. There were sympodial arrangement of the branches at the apex of the conidiophores. On the top of the branches,there were 1-celled, ovoid to elliptical, holoblastic conidia. After the conidia released, there left some denticles on the conidiogeneous cells. It was also found some black walled conidia forming sleeves around hyphae,those conidia which were grown on the denticles of the hyphae, showed sympodial as well.
