Abstract: A rare case of pulmonary infection caused by Emericella nidulans and Aspergillus,flavus is reported for the first time in our country. Direct microscopic examination and histbpathologic section of expectorated mass showed numerous cleistothecia of varying size, filled witli asci and ascospores. Outside the cleistothecia there were numerous thick walled Hülle cells. The patient was treated satisfactorily with antimycotics.
