Abstract: This article reports the effects of Tripterygium Wilfordii look F. on the experimental allergic and toxic contact dermatitis in guinea pigs, Observation on skin reaction by naked eye, histopat-hological examination and response of cellular infiltration in the upper dermis prayed that Tripterpgium Wilfordii Hook F. exerted marked suppressive action on the experimental allergic contact dermatitis, and the mechanisms was probably relalaed to the anti-inflaanmatory and immunosuppressive effects of Triptesygium. On the other hand, the drug showed no marked suppressive effects on the experimental toxic contact dermatitis.
