Epidemiologic and clinical investigation of 12 cases of milker's nodule

Abstract: Twelve cases of milker's nodule are reported in this article.The disease is a natural infection of row.The causative agent is parapoxvirus.Human infection occurs when one comes into contact with Cows affected with the teats and udder of the cow.The lesions were mainly localized on the hands.They started as milium-sized aodules,then progressed through vesicular lesions to nodules,and formed crusts over the nodules.The disease is self-limited.Symptomatic treatment may be helpful.
