Abstract: This paper reports the results of fungistatic effect of oleum’ Likseae pungentis on some pathogenic fungi in vitro.Oleum Litseae pungentis has a relatively strong fungistatic effect on some superficial and deep fungi which are frequently seen in China,Its minimal inhibitory concentrations are 0.01-0.005% for 9 species of common dermatophytes,0.1-0.033% for Candida albicans, Cryptococcus neoformans, Sporotrichum sohenckii and some fungi of derinatiaceae and 1%for Aspergillus fumigatus and A. flavus.
