Abstract: This is a preliminary report on the treatment of psoriasis by embedding in acupuncture points or by injecting allologous scale and autologous scale preparations in 300 cases, There was a basic cure rate of 60.3% and a total effective rate of 92%, in 76.8 days on the average. The results are better in children, primary or progressive cases. A higher cure rate occurred in bhose cases whose skin test were positive and who were treated with autologous scale preparations, but a poor effect in those who had received immunosuppressive treatment(p<0.01). The usual side-effects were tired ness, fatigue, dizziness, and pain in extremities, which might completely disappear with the treatment continued and the preparations used in low concentration. Further study is necessary both clinically and experimentally.
