Abstract: Clinical studies of 83 cases of chemical burns were reported.Fifteen chemical toxicants were involved in these burns,which included 27 cases.of hydrofluoric acid,13 cases of phosphor,13 cases of phenol,11 cases of sulphuric acid and 19 cases of 11 other chemical toxicants,These burns were small in area and commonly distributed.on the extremities,less commonly on face and neck,and rarely on the trunk,Almost all these burns were due to accidents.
