Abstract: By means of acid-α-nap hthyl acetate esterase(ANAE)stain, periodic acid Schiffis(PAS)stain and acid phosphatase(ACP) stain for blood smear of peripheral blood, the authors studied 144 cases comprising psoriasis, urticaria, eczema, connective tissue disease, malignant tumor of the skin and alopecia areata. In each case 100 lymphocytes were studied and their positive rates were calcufated. The results showed lowering of ANAE stain in a116 skin diseases(p<0.001,0.01),while in PAS stain there was increase in psoriasis, malignant tumor of the skin and alopecia areata(p< 0.05).The majority of the ACP staining resuits were negative. The authors regard that the result of ANAE stain is similar to that of Erosette formation test.ANAE stain can not only be used as an index of T cells for differentiation from B cells, but can be used as an index in the evaluation of cyto-immunity also.
