Abstract: 【Abstract】 Kaposi′s sarcoma-associated herpesvirus(KSHV) is a cancer-causing virus, and its encoded oncoproteins are involved in the occurrence and development of many tumors. KSHV infections are diverse, and infection rates and typing vary in different regions and populations. Various virus subtypes also exhibit different performances in different diseases. Accurate KSHV identification technology and rapid typing methods will accelerate clinical diagnosis. The identification and typing of KSHV are of great significance for understanding molecular biological characteristics of the virus, formulating new strategies for precise prevention and treatment, and promoting research progress in related tumors.
