Abstract: 【Abstract】 A 60-year-old female patient visited the clinic on July 21, 2023 for a progressively enlarging mass in the left auricle for 8 years. Dermatological examination revealed a spherical, brownish-red nodule measuring approximately 2.5 cm × 1.5 cm × 0.5 cm in the left auricle; the lesion was firm, well-defined, and poorly movable, with an irregular surface and visible crusts and scales. Based on the clinical manifestations and the preoperative pathological findings, a diagnosis of squamous cell carcinoma was considered. The tumor was excised with wide surgical margins, followed by the auricular cartilage fenestration with secondary healing. The postoperative pathological examination confirmed a mixed tumor consisting of trichilemmal carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma. During the 4-month follow-up, no tumor recurrence was noted, and the surgical incision was well healed.
