Abstract: Serum levels of ziac, copper; calcium magnesium ferrium, selenium, ceruloplasmin, vitamine A,and vitamine E were determined by atomic absorption spectrometry and fluorescent spectrometry in 138 cases psoriatics. The results showed that:zinc concentration in both active and quiescent phase, serum copper values in active phase were sigaificantly decreased(P<0.01 or P<0.05).The values of calcium and vitamine E were also decreased. But the values of ceruloplasmin, selenium and ferriumwere significantly increased. The magnesium value was in normal range,According to the above data following conclusion might be drawn, the internal environment in psoriatics expressed some biological disturbances. Therefore the pathogenesis and the etiology of psoriasis should be intensively studied by using multiple systems and methods at the same time, and not limited to the skin changes,so that the pathogenesis might be clearer, the treatment of it might be more rational, and the therapeutic results might be more satisfactory.
