Abstract: Demodex is cosmopolitan in distribution.No report on the epidemiology of human demodicidosis has beea seen in China.In Heze area Shandong province 3067 persons were surveyed for Deniodex, showing the infection rafe of 60.58% and the morbidity rate of 10.04%.The two rates rose with age increase of the patients. There was no sex difference before puberty but after puberty the incidence was higher in men than in women.
