Study on Diagnosis and Clinical Features of Genital Herpes

Abstract: Herpes simple xvirus(HSV) was isolated in 80 patients with typical genital herpes using Vero celmethod,and in apart of these patients HSV was detected and typed by using LSAB and PCR.The detection rates of cell culture,LSAB and PCR were 58.8%,20%,and 90% respectively.PCR was good for HSV typing in addition.The positive rate of HSV-2 was 91.7%,HSV-1 was 8.3%.LSAB showed lower sensitivity in clinical specimens,but higher detection rate in cell culture specimens.The advantage of the primers used and clinical features in this study were discussed also.
