Abstract: Purpose:In SLE patients, it has been reported that antiphospholipid antibodies such as lupus anticoagulant(LA), antieardiolipin antibody (ACA) etc. are closely complicated with thrombosis. thrombocytopenia, reccurrent fetal lost and nervous system disease. Therefore detection of LA is significant to clarify the disease condition. Method:62 plasma specimens from SLE patients were incubated at 37℃ for 1 minute, Lupo-Test Ⅱ and Locor reagent were added, coagulation time determined, and LupoTest/Lueor ratio calculated. Result:The LA positive rate was 19.4%(12/62) in 62 patients with SLE. The Fositive rate of LA in SLE patients with vasculitis was 75% (9/12) and the LA positive rate in SLE patients without vasculitis was 4%(2/50). The positive rates of ANA, ENA, elevated Ig or lower level of C3 were the same in the SLE patients with LA compared with those without LA (P>0.05). The screening tests for LA is simple and reproducible and it may be useful in clinical study of SLE.
