Abstract: Objective To investigate the causes of immunological disorders in SLE.Methods CD43 antigen on lymphocytes of peripheral blood in 16 cases of active SLE was detected by immunoflourescent double marker-flow cytometry. Results The results showed that,(1) the number of CD43 antigen positive lymphocytes in peripheral blood of active SLE patients was 63.14±16.47,which was significantly lower than that of the control group(86.6 2±12.86,P<0.01).(2) The number of CD43 antigen positive cells was negatively correlated to the disease activity of SLE (r=-0.702,P<0.01). (3) The number of CD19+-CD43+ lymphocytes in peripheral blood in active SLE was 2.5 5±1.38w hich was significantly higher than that of the control group (1.32±0.92,P<0.01).Conclusion The increase of CD19+-CD43+ lymphocytes may be correlated with the production of anti-DNA autoantibody in SLE.
