Effect of Artesunate on Ⅰ~Ⅳ Types of Hypersensitivity

Abstract: Objective To investigate the effeets on allergic reaction.Methods Following reactions were used for the study:(l)passive cutaneous anaphylaxis in rats:(2)systems of hemolysis in ht with complement:(3)Arthus phenomennon in rats:(4)delaved palmopantar swelling indueed by SRBC in mice.Results(1)a marked suppressive, efeel of Artesuate on PCA.the inhibition rate was 33.3%:(2) Artesunate at the coneentration of l.30×l0-3mol/L deoressed hemolvsis in vitro:(3)at dose of 125mg·kg-1·d-1Artesunate inhihited Arthus phenomenon in rats(compared with control group P<0.01):(4)the palmoplantar swelling and pathotogic changes of DTH in mice was decreased by Artesunate.ip 100mg·kg-1·d-1 Conclusion Artesunate markedly inhibits Ⅰ~Ⅳ lypes of allergic reaction, and offer a novelreatment for allergic diseases and immune-mediated disorders.
