Abstract:

Objective TO explore the association between HLA-DRB1 genetic polymorphism and systemic scleroderma of Guangxi region . Methods the polymerase chain reaction– special sequence primers(PCR-SSP) was used to study the HLA-DRB1 genotypes in 33 patients with systemic scleroderma and 40 healthy controls . Results Eight kinds of HLA-DRB1 alleles were found from the specimens ,including 6 kinds in systemic scleroderma specimens, and 8 kinds in control specimens,Among them, DRB1*15 allelic in the systemic scleroderma group was significantly higher than that in the control group (X2 =8.259,RR=4.0833,P < 0.01). Conclusion Our data suggest that the HLA-DRB1*15 may be the susceptible gene of systemic scleroderma in Guangxi.
