Treatment of hircismus with pruning of apocrine sweat glands by small incision

Abstract: Objective To discuss the possibility of excision of apocrine sweat glands unexposed through a small incision for therapy of bromidrosis. Methods 58 patients underwent excision of apocrine sweat glands unexposed through a small incision with surgical scissors Results All patients were rectified soundly except one patient with poor unpleasant odor in 1~12 months follow-up. The mean operating time was 55 minutes for a case. Conclusion This is a simple and safe operation procedure with good results that can be widely used
