Abstract: The investigation of LC is involved epidermis of 30 patients with dermatomyccsis and in corresponding sites of 70 controls wre mzde by using ATPase staining,and among them 3 patients and 1 control were also eaamincd by usingTEM.The results showed that the number of the LC of the patients were diminished or disappeared,and the ultrastructura were damaged as observed respectively by ATPase staining and TEM.The degree of damage related with the duration and the type of the disease.The close correlation of LC with the immunopathologic changes in dermatomycosis is for the first time proposcd.The invading of dermatophytes impairs the LC,it is possible that the eliminating functioa of the organism to pathogens induced by T cell is interfemd.
