Abstract:

Five strains of penicillinase producing Neisseria gonorxhoeae (PPNG) were detected from 30 isolates from patients with gonorrhoeae in Nanning city by modified iodornetric method. The positive rate was 16.7%. This result indicated that the prevalence of PPNG strains was rather high in that area and some corresponding measures should be taken in the choice of therapeutic drug, the follow up of patients and the surveillance of the disease.
