Abstract: The epiboiy of epidermal layers and the influence of various protesase inhibitors an the migration of epidermal cells were studied on marine skin cultured with Dulbecco's Modified Eagie's Medium (DMEM).The results showed after the addition of Camostat mesilate (0.5,1.0,2.0mg/ml) and Aprotinin (14,28TIU/ml) to DMEM the migration of epidermal cells was markedly inhibited, and the inhibitory action was related to the concentration of respective protease inhibitors and tha duration of culture. This suggests that serine protease might be effective in promoting the migration of epidermal cells and could be helpful in the process of skin wound healing.
