Abstract: This article reports the determination of DNA G+C% of seven species of common clinical Candidae. The range of DNA G+C% vareis from 30.74 to 45.14. The percentage of G+C of C. krusei C. parakrusei and C. pseudotropiealis showed no significant difference. The G+C% of C.guilliermordii was the highest in the 7 species. Since the determinat.on of G+C% is simple, and its value is repeatable it may be considered as a test to identify Candidae.
