Abstract: The purpose of the study is to make tomparison between 18 adults and 6 children patients with linear IgA bullous dermatosis in the clinical feature, immunopathology, etc. The results of this study revealed that linear IgA disease of adults (LADA) is different from the benign chronic bullous dermatosis of childhood (BCBDC)in the mode of onset, the site of predilection, the pattern of lesions, etc. For this reason, BGBDC, LADA and cicatricial pemphigoid (CP) are distinct entities respectively in the spectrum of linear IgA dermatosis.
