Abstract: A new enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) and the classical PEG method used for detecting the circulating immune complexes (CIC) in 177 patients with connective tissue diseases (129 cases with SLE, 36 scleroderma, 12 dermatomyositis) and 65 normai controls.
