Abstract: Quantitative morphological study of ATPase stained normal and topically nitrogen mustard treated LCs in guinea pig epidermis was perfcrmed by computerised image analysis technique. It was found that there was a very significant correlation and linear regression between perimeter and the square root of its area for both cytoplasm and nucleus. This evidence prmvides a theoretical basis for morphological identification of LCs.
