Abstract: Tinea pedis is a common disease.Itsincidence is very high in coal miners and soliders etc.Sponsored by the grant of Chinese Academy of Sciences,we underwent the comprehensive prophylactic and therapeutic study of tinea pedis of underground coal miners in Quan_tai coal mine of Xuzhou city.The patients were divided randomly into four groups:treatment and prevention group 2 and group 1,treatment group and prevention group.After one year, the total morbidity rate was decreased from 57.26% to 8.33%.The effective rates were different in four groups,it showed that treatment and Prevention group 2 was better than group 1,the prevention group and the treatment group.According to the incidence of relapsed cases and new cases,as a whole,both prophylactic and treatment groups are better than treatment or prevention group(P<0.05)
