Abstract: This paper reports forty toads inoculated intraperitoneally with Fonsecaea pedrosoi. All of them were infected. Fuagoid granuloma, ulcers, erosion and verruciform hyperplasia occurred on the skin. There were multiple gray-black nodules in the body cavity and mesentery. Many viscera developed multiple minute abscesses, necrosis and chronic granuloma. Brown septate hyphae and round brown sclerotic cells were present throughtout the tissues, and Foasecaea pedrosoi were isolated from the lesions.
