Abstract: This article reports 1303 strains of pathogenic fungi isolated from Taizhou city of Jiangsu Province during 1975-1983. Of them Trichophyton rubrum was the most common, about 30.84%.Tue next was Sporotrichum schenckii and its variant, about 18.18%.And next to them were yeast-like fungi and Candida albicans, about 10.43% and 10.42% respectively. The incidence of the strains of pathogenic fungi from Taizhou district is different from that of other destricts in China.
