Abstract: In order to evaluate the relation between neztroendocrinc and immunoregulating cell in patients with alopecia areata and male pattern alopecia, we determined the fevel of plasma (3-endorphin immunoreactivity(irβ-Ep) by RIA and the activity of natural killer cell (NKC) by enryme-release (LDH)assay in patients with alopecia areaEa(AA),including alopecia totalis(AT) and in patients with male pattern alopecia (MPA). The majority of AA patients to be determined were examined within one manth since their fait loss.Normal subjects (NS) were also determined as the control group.
