Abstract: This article reports the histopathologic and ultrastructural observation on 32 patients with rosacea. It was found that this disease demonstrated mainly an inflammatory reaction. The infiltrates consisted of lymphocytes, plasma cells, lustiocytes and mast cells, and the lymphocytes infiltrated into interepidermal cells and follicular epithelia. Many mast cells showed significant degranulation.
